July 26, 2025 – Kaiser H.S. Project Grad 2026
On July 26, 2025, the Hawaii Kai Lions assisted Kaiser High School’s PTSA with their Project Grad 2026 – BBQ Bash. This event was held on the Kaiser parking lot between the hours of 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and included food trucks, crafters, live music, and a BBQ competition between pitmasters from Hawaii and the mainland (grand prize was $5,000).
Our Lions helped to move the tables and chairs from the campus to the parking lot and set those up for people to sit down and enjoy their food, while listening to live music. During the hot day, our Lions also cleaned the tables, made sure trash was thrown away, and broke down the tables and chairs at the end to be stored back on campus.
