September 26, 2025 – Hahaione Elementary School’s Traffic Awareness Project
On September 26, 2025, seven Hawaii Kai Lions and one CIS participated in a traffic awareness project by waving signs (“Yield for Pedestrians”, “No Texting and Driving”) in front of Hahaione Elementary School from 7:15 am to 8:15 am, with HPD officers from the Community Policing Team for District 7, East Honolulu. The Hahaione JPOs were also present, doing their duty of ensuring students and parents could safely cross the street.
