November 22, 2025 – Hanauma Bay Beach Cleanup
On November 22, 2025, six members of the Hawaii Kai Lions Club were joined by six Kaiser High School Leo Club volunteers and their adviser to help keep one our favorite beaches beautiful, by collecting litter at a beach cleanup event organized by the Friends of Hanauma Bay (FOHB). The FOHB’s president provided an overview of their organization, guidance on the cleanup, distributed tools and materials and brought us to the end of the beach at Hanauma Bay where the wind and tides carry and deposit a lot of trash. Many thanks to all who helped with this project.
