November 23, 2025 – Kaiwi Coast Run/Walk
The annual Kaiwi Coast Run & Walk is a community-oriented journey along the coastline of southeastern Oahu. The runners and walkers start at Sandy Beach at sunrise and finish at the canoe halau at the Maunalua Bay boat ramp and parking lot, about a 4-mile trek.
Well before sunrise on Sunday, November 23, 2025, four Hawaii Kai Lions reported to Hanauma Bay. They were tasked with crowd control and cheering on the 3,000 participants as they passed along the route.
This is Hui Nalu Canoe Club’s major fundraiser. They generously donate some of the proceeds from this event to the Hawaii Kai Lions Rescue Tube Project.
