December 4, 2025 – Lunalilo Home Christmas Dinner
This year, the Hawaii Kai Lions Club continued its tradition of having a Christmas dinner
with residents of the Lunalilo Home. On December 4, 2025, a total of 33 Lions Club
members, spouses, and guests attended the dinner at the Home. The Club treated the
residents to a Hawaiian dinner; in addition, the Home arranged for Hawaiian music to be provided by Uncle William “Bill” Mele and Lunalilo Home Kupuna Henry.
After dinner, the Home residents and the Lions Club attendees all remained in the dining room for a program of singing Christmas carols, and were presented with wooden ornaments made and donated on behalf of the Club by Lion Erick Kvick, as well as personalized Christmas cards made by our Lions, and a very large box of Whitman Chocolates. The Lions Club also gave a donation of $500 to the Home.
