April 25, 2026 – D50 Awards
On April 25, 2026, the Hawaii Kai Lions Club was presented with the following awards and recognition during the annual District 50 Lions Club Convention at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel:
• Club Bulletin – 2nd place (submitted four bulletins)
• Childhood Cancer – 2nd place (Valentine’s Card Project)
• Vision – 2nd place (eyeglass recycling)
• Youth – 3rd place (Kaiser High School scholarships)
• Leos Spotlight Lions – 1st place
• Ohia Lehua – Hedy Kaneoka
