August 22, 2026 – Nagoya Joto Lions Club’s Donation
On August 22, 2026, seven Lions and one CIS from the Hawaii Kai Lions Club presented the Hawaii Kai Library librarian with a $500 check from the Nagoya Joto Lions Club, which is a sister club of the Hawaii Kai Lions. This annual donation is to support the library, and in the past the Nagoya Joto Lions presented the library with several beautiful gifts; including a display case containing a bow and arrows to signify Boy’s Day and huge koi fish banners which hung from the library’s ceiling.
