April 30, 2026 – Hawaii Kai Library Donation
On April 30, 2026, twelve members and one CIS of the Hawaii Kai Lions Club, met with the Hawaii Kai Library’s librarian to present her with a $500 donation to support the library’s important services to the community. The librarian thanked us for the donation and the years of support the library received from the Hawaii Kai Lions as well as the Nagoya Joto Lions Club. She informed us that major renovations are planned for the library in the future and assured us that the beautiful Japanese art and gifts received from the Nagoya Club will continue to be preserved and displayed after the renovations for the community to appreciate.
