April 4, 2026 – Adopt-A-Highway
On April 4, 2026, the first Adopt-A-Highway cleanup for 2026 was held. Twelve hard-working Lions and guests worked to pick up rubbish on Kalanianaole Highway from Keahole St. to Hanauma Bay. Fourteen trash bags were filled and several large items were identified for pick-up by the State DOT (bicycle, wood pieces, car parts, furniture, office trash can filled with cardboard). Cash was also found, in the amount of $11.25. The group met afterwards at the courtyard outside the Satellite City Hall office for refreshments.
