The Hawaii Kai Lions Club receives a donation from the Koko Marina Center to offset some of the operational expenses of the parade, such as: permit and use fees, signage, public notices, liability insurance, renting and paying a vendor to set up 160 free standing “No-Parking” signs along both sides of the entire parade route, almost 2 miles of traffic coning on the day of the parade for staging, lane closures, and traffic flow, and porta-potties.
The Hawaii Kai Lions look forward to continuing this tradition of bringing holiday cheer and good will to our community for many years to come.
