May 13, 2026 – Hahaione Elementary School’s May Day Program
“May Day is Lei Day in Hawai’i” was sung by all the students at Haha’ione Elementary School for their 2026 May Day opening ceremony on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. What followed were wonderful singing and hula performances by all grade levels, from pre-school to fifth graders, with the theme being “Flowers of the Islands.” To the students delight, the event ended with a fabulous hula by their teachers and principal!
The Hawaii Kai Lions were invited to be VIP guests, with a lei greeting and a pre-reception prior to enjoying the performances.
