May 8, 2026 – Koko Head Elementary School’s Keiki Karnival

Enjoying a hot dog/hamburger lunch and a bottle of iced tea turned out to be the calm before the storm for our Lion volunteers. Once the bell rang, the grounds of Koko Head Elementary School were swarming with activity and excitement for their school’s Keiki Karnival. Approximately 500 students and family members ate, played, and bounced their way through the afternoon. Two of our volunteers were such good popcorn sellers that they sold every bag. Another kept the photo booth line organized and flowing, and two other volunteers were busy at the prize redemption table. It was a great time for all involved!
