November 29, 2025 – Hawaii Kai Holiday Parade

The Holiday Spirit filled the air on Saturday, November 29, 2025, as the Hawaii Kai Lions Club put on its annual Holiday Parade!
More than 1,200 participants and volunteers and 30 decorated vehicles joined in this year’s parade. Bands including the Kaiser High School Band, McKinley High School Band, the Pacific Fleet Band, and from Ohio, the Worthington Kilbourne Marching Band rang in the holiday season. The Kaiser High School ROTC Color Guard led off the parade followed by hundreds of local preschool and elementary school students, Girls and Boys Scouts, soccer and baseball teams, pageant queens, decorated floats, cheerleaders, drill teams, classic cars, Tae Kwon Do martial artists, and many more.
The Grand Marshal for this Year’s parade was Judy Nii of Nii R & S Nursery Inc. Judy distinguished herself as a steadfast community advocate in Hawaii Kai. In 2010, Judy partnered with her neighbors and fellow nursery owners to establish a Kamilonui Farmers Alliance and successfully negotiated a long-term leasehold with Kamehameha Schools to maintain Kamilonui Valley as an agricultural community. Judy has also served in various volunteer roles in the local agricultural sector, including as a director of the Department of Land & natural Resources, South Oahu Soil and Water Conservation District and the Hawaii Association of Nurserymen.
The Hawaii Kai Holiday Parade continues to be one of the largest and best organized community parades and that is a testament to the spirit of cooperation and volunteerism from all those involved including our co-sponsors Koko Marina Center and the City and County of Honolulu! A special Mahalo goes out to all of our Lions who showed up and played such a integral role in the success of the parade!
